THE IMPORTANCE OF YOU [PATRONS, SUPPORTERS & PRODUCERS]
For four years now I’ve made and shared films almost unconditionally, because I’ve known it’s the right thing for me to do. There’s been a certainty that I cannot describe well enough. But sitting alongside that certainty has been the uncertainty of the path. And of the way to support the films, and the family through this adventure. There have been many on the edge moments. We’ve survived them all to date. Sometimes it’s been a close call.
The making and sharing of films is an expensive business. I’ve come to understand this. It’s now important for me to look at ways of securing a sustainable way of creating more films. And words. And to share them in the most appropriate fashion. To have them count. To make a difference.
It will mean yet another adventure of uncertainty. I am sure that patronage will play its part. It has so far. I hope you will consider becoming a part of this adventure.
